After a historic Test series victory over Pakistan, the Bangladesh team will return to country tonight in two groups.

The first group is scheduled to arrive at 11:30pm from UAE and the second group will arrive at 2:00am from Qatar as the Tigers left Pakistan last night, a whatsapp message sent by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) revealed.

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, however, will not return to country with any groups as he left the team camp for UK where he will be playing in a four-day County Championship game for Surrey, beginning on September 9.

Shakib has already obtained NOC from BCB to play the County Championship match, which is believed to be a perfect preparation for him for the upcoming series against India.

Apart from Shakib, the other members of the team will start training camp under the guidance of coach Chandika Hathurusingha on September 8 for the two Tests and three T20Is against India later this month.

The team will leave for India on September 15. Shakib will join the side in India, straight from the UK, BCB president Faruque Ahmed earlier informed.

The first Test is scheduled in Chennai from September 19.

Meanwhile, pace bowling coach Andre Adams and Strength and conditioning coach Nathan Kiely won't return to Bangladesh as they have gone on a short leave. Both of them are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on September 12.    —BSS
