Angry people hurl shoes on the cars of outgoing election commissioners Begum Rashida Sultana and Md Anisur Rahman at Nirbachan Bhaban on Thursday.
Following the announcement of the resignation of Kazi Habibul Awal led Election Commission (EC), shoes were hurled on the cars of election commissioners Begum Rashida Sultana and Md Anisur Rahman.
Angry people hurled shoes on their cars when they were coming out of the Nirbachan Comission Bhaban at Agargaon in Dhaka on Thursday (September 5).

Earlier at 12:00 noon, outgoing chief election commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal announced his resignation at a press conference. At that time, election commissioners Md Ahsan Habib Khan and Md Alamgir were present.
Later, when Rashida Sultana and Anisur Rahman were leaving the Nirbachan Bhaban silently, their cars were intercepted by angry people. They hurled shoes on the cars of both of them.
