Address Dhaka's air pollution

Dear Sir

The recent air quality index (AQI) reports for Dhaka highlight a troubling situation. With the city's AQI fluctuating from 'unhealthy' to 'moderate,' it underscores the urgent need for comprehensive air pollution control measures.

As Dhaka is ranked 24th globally, and the dire AQI readings from other cities, such as Doha and Lahore, there is a call for a concerted effort to address this growing crisis. Effective policies, stricter regulations, and public awareness campaigns are crucial to mitigate the health risks associated with poor air quality. As the World Health Organization warns, air pollution remains a significant global health threat. Immediate action is essential.
