Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Adviser Md Nahid Islam Monday asked the state-own mobile phone operator Teletalk to improve its quality of services to meet the people’s expectation.

He issued the directive while visiting the operator’s headquarters in city’s Gulshan, said a ministry press release.
Nahid Islam said they are mulling to restructure and reform the Teletalk as it is necessary to improve the quality of services of the operator within its capacity alongside monitoring the customer services, BSS reports.

When the adviser wanted to know about the current status of 5G piloting, the Teletalk officials said that BUET will submit a feasibility study report on it this month.

As Teletalk officials made proposal to launch “GEN Z package” for youths, Nahid also expressed his keenness for the package.

Teletalk’s senior officials were present during the visit.
