Tragic deaths on Dhaka-Tangail Highway

The Dhaka-Tangail highway witnessed two tragic accidents on Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. In Shuvullya, a 65-year-old man, whose identity remains unknown, was fatally struck by a bus at approximately 9 AM. The collision occurred as the man attempted to cross the road, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Gorai Highway Police Station has reported that the body was recovered promptly following the incident.

In a separate accident around 10:45 AM at Dewhata, 70-year-old Sonamuddin also met with a tragic end when he was hit by a bus while crossing the highway. The collision resulted in immediate fatality, and police were quick to respond to the scene. 
These incidents highlight ongoing concerns regarding road safety on this busy route. Both cases are under investigation by the local authorities, and steps must be taken to prevent such accidents in the future. Increased vigilance and improved safety measures are essential to protect pedestrians and ensure the safety of all road users.
