4 killed in road accident in Khulna

KHULNA, Sept 9: Four people including a school teacher were killed and one sustained severe injuries on Monday when a battery-run easy bike collided with a pick up van on Rupsha-Bagerhat Highway at Noapara area in Fakirhat upazila.

The deceased were identified as Bagerhat Sadar Govt Primary School teacher Nipa Begum, 28, construction workers Md Masum, 33, of Nababpur village under Rampal upazila in Bagerhat and Sawkat Ali of Bamara village under Rupsha upazila in Khulna.
However, identity of the other deceased could not be confirmed immediately.
