Feroz sent to jail in Shohag murder case

Former chief whip ASM Feroz was sent to jail to jail by a Dhaka court on Monday after rejecting his bail petition in a case filed over the death of 16-year-old Sohag Miah during the quota reform movement at Bhatara in the capital on July 19.

Metropolitan Magistrate Mehera Mahbub passed the order after Masudur Rahman, a sub-inspector at Bhatara Police Station and also the investigation officer of the case, produced him at the end of his 10-day remand in two phases in the case.
