College principal among 2 killed in Natore road accident

Two persons including the principal of Tamaltala Technical College were killed and another injured in an accident in Sadar upazila of Natore district on Tuesday.

The accident happened in the evening at Dalsarak on the Natore-Bogura highway.
The dead were Rafique Sarkar, 55, a worker of a Natore Palli Bidyut Samity, and Zulficker Ali, 31, principal of Tamaltala Technical College.

The accident occurred when a motorbike carrying the victims hit another motorbike, leaving three people injured, said Shahadat Hossain, an officer of Natore Fire Service.
 
The injured were taken to Sadar hospital where doctors declared Rafique dead.

Principal Zulficker was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at night.
