Ex-Jhenidah MP Nayeb Ali Joarder arrested

Nayeb Ali Joardar, former Awami League lawmaker from the Jhenidah-1 constituency, has been arrested.

A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Nayeb Ali from his residence at Arappur Bus Stand area of the city at about 11:55PM on Thursday during a raid.

RAB-6 confirmed the arrest in a text message.

He was arrested in two separate sabotage cases filed over carrying out attack, vandalisation and arson in Jhenidah Sadar upazila on August 4. And Nayeb Ali has been made the prime accused of the cases.
