Ex-MP for Barishal-2 arrested in murder case

Former lawmaker from Barishal-2 constituency Shah-E-Alam has been shown arrested in a murder case filed with Gulshan Police Station during the mass protests.

Before being handed over to police a mob assaulted Shah-E-Alam on Saturday night.

Gulshan Police Station inspector (Investigation) Razu Ahmed confirmed the detention on Sunday afternoon adding that the arrested was sent to a Dhaka Court.

He further said the murder case was filed on September 12.
