Law, Justice and Parlia-mentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul said on Thursday, "The interim government will discuss with all political parties except Awami League the issue of reforms."
Speaking at a press briefing after attending a meeting of the Advisory Council and Committee on Constitutional Reform at the Foreign Service Academy he said, "Between October 1 and December 31, the six committees on reforms will submit their reports. These reports will be made available online after review in the advisory council meeting led by the Chief Adviser."
He said, "There will be no discussion with those who carried out genocide, fled from justice, killed and injured thousands of students and people. We will not discuss with them.
"The interim government will discuss reforms with all political parties except Awami League this is our clear statement," said Nazrul.
Nazrul said that apart carrying out electoral reforms the committee will give priority to necessary state reforms.
Hundreds of cases have been filed against Sheikh Hasina after she fled to India. Asked whether she will be brought back for trial in these cases, Nazrul said, "We will ask to India to return to Bangladesh."
Regarding killing of students of Dhaka University and Jahangirnagar University Asif said, "Steps will be taken to stop mob justice.
Extrajudicial killings will not be tolerated anymore. Three accused have been arrested."
He said that none involved in killing would be spared.
SHUJAN Secretary Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar and Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Mahfuj Alam also spoke at the briefing.
"Our key focus is to work. It's a public service. We don't want repetition of what happened in the past," said Dr Badiul Alam, head of the Commission for reforming the Election Commission.
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam, Deputy Press Secretaries Abul Kalam Azad Majumder and Apurba Jahangir were present at the press briefing.
