Road crash leaves minor girl dead in Panchagarh

A minor girl was killed in a road accident at Subouspara village in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district on Friday afternoon.

The decesed Sennya, 9, was daughter of Md Sahinur Islam from Subouspara village in the district.
Police said the accident took place as driver of a tractor lost control over the steering and hit Sennya when she was waiting beside the road for her mother. Sennya died on the spot.

Debiganj Police Station officer-in-charge Sohel Rana said being informed police rushed to the spot and arrested the driver.

A case has been filed with the police station in this regard, added the OC.
