2 held with Phensedyl in Narayanganj

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two drug peddlers along with 295 bottles of phensedyl syrup at Sonargaon upazila in Narayaganj district on Friday morning. 

The arrested men are Sagor Hossain Rajib, 29, halied form Kishoreganj and Md Amir Hossain, 30, hailed from Lakshmipur.

They were arrested around 6:00am from Ashariar Char area on the Dhaka-Chattagram highway in the upazila.

RAB confirmed the matter through a press release on Friday afternoon. 

Acting on a tip-off,  a team of RAB-11 conducted a raid in the area and arrested the duo with the drugs, it added. 

Legal steps are under process in this regard, it further said.
