An elderly man was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision between a CNG autorickshaw and a microbus on Radhika road at Nabinagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Sunday.

The accident took place around 5:30 PM on Sunday at Waruk area on the road.
Deceased Shukkur Khan, 60, was son of late Ful Mia and hailed from Bogdohor village under the upazila. Two others were injured in the crash and are currently receiving treatment at Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex.

Locals said that reckless driving on the road frequently leads to such tragic accidents. Just a few days earlier on September 20, another fatal accident claimed the life of a young man. They urge both public awareness and administrative action to prevent further accidents on this dangerous road.
