Shahriar Kabir shown arrested in two murder cases

Shahriar Kabir, president of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, has been showed arrested in two separate murder cases filed with the Jatrabari Police Station.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tahmina Haque passed the order on Monday as police produced Kabir before the court after the end of his seven-day remand in housemaid Liza murder case.

Police pleaded to show him arrested in two separate murder cases.
Among the two cases, one was filed over the killing of Rafikul Islam at Jatrabari on July 19. Rafikul was shot by police on July 18 and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital the next day.

According to another case document, on July 19, Arif got shot in his eyes at Kutubkhali of Jatrabari. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the attending doctors declared him dead.
