ASA, the leading MFI of the country has undertaken a target of disbursing loan Tk 48,000 crore among 6.6 million clients during 2024-25 fiscal year.
The decision was taken by the 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the organization held on Sunday, says a press release.
Moreover, it will spend an amount of Tk 184 crore for implementing CSR (Social welfare) programs such as healthcare, education, scholarship for higher education, physiotherapy, relief and rehabilitation, distribution of warm clothes etc. during the same period.
The 45th AGM of ASA was presided by A K M Aminur Rashid, Chairman of ASA Governing Body. Md. Ariful Haque Choudhury President, ASA presented a financial report on the outgoing fiscal year and the budget for the ongoing year.
Md. Taufiqul Islam Chowdhury, Executive Vice President of the organization moderated the meeting.
