BNP Vice-Chairman Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad called upon the Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus to withdraw the false cases against all the political leaders and activists involved in movements against the autocratic Awami League government.

Speaking at a discussion meeting held in  Qatar and organized by expatriates of Muradnagar Upazila in Cumilla, he said, "The objective of the Student-Mass Movement will fail if false cases are not withdrawn against political leaders who are still in jail, and if we cannot ensure punishment of disappearances and murders."
In a press release received on Sunday, Kaikobad praised the Chief Adviser's decision to withdraw all false cases against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

He said that the Interim Government needs time and cooperation to conduct free and fair election.

Kaikobad urged the people of the country to establish the ideology of Khaleda Zia and BNP's founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman to build a prospective nation.
