Major promotions in police force: 47 SPs become Addl DIGs

The Ministry of Home Affairs has promoted 47 superintendents of police to the rank of additional deputy inspector general of police.

The Public Security Division of the ministry issued a notification on Tuesday (September 24).

Among the promoted officials, 12 are working as superintendents of district police.
