Social Islami Bank hold board meeting

Social Islami Bank held 518th Board meeting on 26 September at the bank's head office recently, says a press release.

Professor Dr. M. Sadiqul Islam, FCMA, Chairman of the Bank, presided over the meeting. 

Among others, Maksuda Begum, Md. Morshed Alam Khondoker, and Md. Anwar Hossain, FCA, Directors of the Bank, were present at the meeting. 

Mohammad Forkanullah, Managing Director (Acting), Abdul Hannan Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Nazmul Ahsan, FCS, Company Secretary, were also present in the event.

Bank chairman Professor Dr. M. Sadiqul Islam, FCMA, said the bank would turn around soon. Bangladesh Bank has already taken steps to ease liquidity crunch. 

We are strengthening our efforts to recover non-performing investment.  He is optimistic that the bank would recover from the current situation shortly.
