Rain washes out Day 2 of second Test between Bangladesh and India

The second day of the India vs. Bangladesh cricket test was called off on Saturday without a single ball being bowled due to continuous rain.

The downpour at Green Park stadium once again delayed play during the morning session, and conditions did not improve throughout the day, keeping the entire field under covers.
Lunch was taken at the scheduled time with Bangladesh still at 107-3 after 35 overs in their first innings. All of those overs were bowled on day one, which also faced rain interruptions.

Following lunch, excess water remained on the covers, preventing further play.

On Friday, India won the toss and chose to field first, marking the first time they opted to bowl first in a home test since 2015.

India currently leads the two-match series after winning the first test in Chennai by 280 runs.
