The class of first year honours courses under 2023-24 academic session will begin from October 20.
The decision was taken at a view exchange meeting with the teachers at the Shaheed Tazuddin Ahmed's conference room today, said a KU press release.
Senior Professor of KU who is also in-charge of conducting emergency activities of administration and finance Dr Md Rezaul Karim presided over the meeting.
The meeting discussed about the progress of admission in 2023-24 session, ways to fill up quota seat through migration, timeline to begin classes of the first year honours courses, progress of academic activities and to formulate academic calendar for the first year students.
While addressing as the chair, Professor Dr Md Rezaul Karim, said "We have already returned to normalcy overcoming the crisis situation.
The VC urged the Dean and Head of all Disciplines of KU to cooperate with each other to begin the academic activities on time. —BSS
