Degoratory remarks about prophet protested

 
MADARIPUR, Sept 30: Rally and demonstration were held on Sunday in Shibchar Upazila of the district, protesting derogatory remarks about Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and hurting religious sentiments by Indian Hindu priest Ramgiri Maharaj.

Ulama Oikya Parishad organized the protest programmes.   
In the morning, the protest rally starting from the 71 Square in the upazila paraded  main roads in the town. The rally ended in front of Shibchar Central Jam-e-Masjid. Later on, a discussion meeting was held.
