BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been suffering from seasonal fever. He has been suffering from fever since Monday (September 30).

BNP media cell's member Shyrul Kabir Khan stated it to the mass media on Tuesday (October 1) morning.
He said BNP standing committee member Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain went to see Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at his residence at Uttara on Monday night. Now, the secretary general is taking rest and  there is no possibility that he would come out of his residence.

Shyrul Kabir Khan also said Mirza Fakhrul would also not be able to attend the discussion of Jatiyatabadi Olama Dal today (Tuesday). He would take rest at the advice of his physician.
