Farid made UNB Advisory Editor, Mahfuzur joins as its Editor

Mahfuzur Rahman joined UNB as its Editor on Tuesday while current Editor veteran journalist Farid Hossain has been elevated to Advisory Editor.

Mahfuz served as Editor (Web) at Somoy TV from February 1, 2022 before joining UNB.

"We're very pleased to have Mahfuz on board again as he brings with him vast experience in agency journalism. His experience perfectly positions him to help UNB improve its editorial standards," said Enayetullah Khan, the Editor Emeritus of UNB.

Farid, former Dhaka Bureau chief of Associated Press (AP) and one of the founding members of UNB, spent much of his career working for international media, including Time magazine and The Telegraph, Kolkata.    —UNB
