Four youth held with arms, ammo in city

The joint force arrested four youths along with firearms and ammunition from Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard area of Mirpur in Dhaka on Thursday night.

The arrestees were -- Md Hossain, 27, Md Rifat alias Nipu, 19, Md Sohan, 19, and Md Naim, 19.

Police through a press release said a joint team of Darus Salam Thana police and army arrested four persons from the area at 7:30PM on Thursday.

They also seized two foreign-made pistols, three bullets, one magazine, one knife, six mobile phone sets and 12 batteries of cell phone allegedly from their possessions.
