Jubo League leader held in Kishoreganj

Police in a drive arrested joint convenor of Kishoreganj district Jubu League Mir Aminul Islam Sohel on Thursday night.

He was accused in a case filed over attack on protestors during the anti-discrimination student movement in the district town on August 4.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted the raid at the residence of Sohel located in n the town at around 1:30 am and arrested him, said Md Shaymol Miah, officer-in-charge of Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station.
