Youth stabbed dead by muggers at Uttara

A youth was stabbed to death by muggers at Uttara in the capital early Sunday soon after he came to Dhaka from Pabna.

The deceased was Md Sohan, 27, worked as driver of a company car in Pabna. 

He came to Dhaka at an early hours for a office work, said his brother Md Shawon.
Muggers attacked him when he got down from a bus at Uttara. He barred the gang when they tried to snatch away his mobile and cash moneys. Then they stabbed Sohan and fled the scene.

Passersby took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries.

The hospital police outpost inspector Md Farruq said the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
