Classes resumed at Chittagong University (CU) on Sunday (October 6) after a closure of more than three months.

Students, wearing red badges, started in-person classes after paying tribute to martyrs of the student-people movement.

However, first-year classes also commenced today.

The classes were suspended at the university on the first of July as he University Teachers' Association announced an indefinite strike demanding the cancellation of the new pension scheme.

Meanwhile, the students boycotted classes from July 7 for quota reform.
