Nagad, a popular mobile financial service provider of the Bangladesh Postal Department, has created an exciting cash bonus for its customers on receiving remittances sent home by Bangladeshi expatriates living abroad.

To become eligible for a cash bonus of BDT 100, excluding the 2.5 percent government incentive, a customer needs to receive a minimum of BDT 10,000 in remittance in their Nagad wallets, says a press release.
The bonus will be posted to a customer's Nagad account within one working day of his or her remittance receipt. Starting on 24 September this year, the cash-back campaign will remain valid till 31 October.  Mentionable, a customer with an active and full-profile Nagad account will only be eligible for this campaign.

Since the beginning of its operations as a remittance service provider, approved by Bangladesh Bank, expatriate Bangladeshis remit their hard-earned money seamlessly to their families back home through Nagad instantly and safely at low costs.

Family members of expatriate workers no longer need to wait for working days to receive remittances as Nagad's remittance services are available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. So, anyone from any corner of the world can promptly send home remittances.

Talking about the cash bonus campaign, Md Shihab Uddin Chowdhury, deputy managing director at Nagad, said, "Remittance is a key pillar to support our foreign exchange reserves. To encourage expatriates to send home their hard-earned money more and more through legal channels, we have introduced this cash bonus campaign. We believe this little initiative will play a part in increasing remittance inflows into Bangladesh more."
