SC lawyer seek probe over bribery in DC appointment

A Supreme Court lawyer on Sunday submitted an application before the Anti-Corruption Commission requesting the commission to investigate into the alleged bribery surrounding deputy commissioner (DC) appointments.

Recently, the news of bribery of crore of taka leaked out regarding the appointment of the Deputy Commissioner (DC). 

Contractual appointed senior secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman and controversial two joint secretaries Ziauddin Ahmed and Ali Azam of the Ministry of Public Administration were allegedly involved in taking bribe for the appointment of DCs.
