‘Jonaki’r Alo’ spreading the light

Ek Cup Chaa was an event to showcase the initiatives of 'Jonaki'r Alo', held on 26th January 2017, Thursday from 6.30 PM at Moar (a shared co-working space) in Banani 11, Dhaka, says press release.
The event also showcased the talents of the rural community who focused on the cottage industry. 'Jonaki'r Alo' gives them a platform to sell their products under the brand name, Sustain Bengal.
'Jonaki'r Alo' is a joint initiative of a NGO named 'Poralekha' and Education Sponsorship Asia, Japan (ESA). This initiative focuses on various activities like free education for children, health awareness programs, and environment friendly campaigns and women empowerment projects. 'Jonaki'r Alo' empowers rural women by giving them opportunity to enhance their skills and provides them with a platform to work and earn; and they also support many other such communities which are underprivileged but have the talent which enhances our cottage industry.
