The occasion of the 88th birth anniversary of renowned Bangladeshi poet Shamsur Rahman

On the occasion of the 88th birth anniversary of renowned Bangladeshi poet Shamsur Rahman, Bangladesh National Museum organised a discussion programme and photography exhibition of noted photojournalist MA Taher. The event was held on October 23 at National Museum. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu was present as chief guest at the inauguration. Feted poets Nurul Huda, Habibullah Sirajee, Nasir Ahmed and Mahbub Aziz were present as discussants at the event. Senior secretary of Bangladesh Government Hedayetullah Al Mamun presided over the programme. Faijul Latif Chowdhury, director general of Bangladesh National Museum delivered the welcome speech at the event. The exhibition features 100 photographs on the life and works of poet Shamsur Rahman.
