COX's Bazar, Nov 18: Adequate relief goods are stocked at the shanties of Rohingyas; they are selling some of the relief items to locals and markets at low price.
Many people are coming to the camps to buy the relief goods. The highest stocks are in Balukhali, Thaingkhali, Baghghona, Tajnimarghona and Hakimpara Rohingya camps in Ukhia. Every shanty is full of relief goods.
Local sources said the Rohingyas are selling the relief items for money which they got from local and foreign organisations and different institutions. The relief goods are being sold in half price. Local trades are buying the items at low price and selling those at high price. Several syndicates have already been formed there to buy relief goods.
After visiting Kutupalang Camp, it was seen that a Rohingya named Abu Siddique is selling a chair, a mat and a bucket at Tk 200.
When asked them why they are selling the items, a Rohingya said, "I have already got the items earlier, but I have no Bangladeshi taka that's why I am selling those." An old Rohingya named Mozaffar bought the items and the market price of the items is Tk 600.

They have been selling pulse at Tk 70, soya bean oil at Tk 60 to 40 per litre, 500 gram Dano milk at Tk 100. And flatten rice at Tk 30. A syndicate of old Rohingyas are buying the items from new Rohingys using tricks.
