Different. We all are.
Different like every glowing star.
Our point of views are similar, but never the same
as we walk through this lively game.
Take me, for example, and take my friend,
I wish for nothing to change until the end.
But she hopes to adventure far and wide.
Nothing to fear, nothing to hide
She can't wait to leave "this dreadful city"
where she's spent her life, with her kitty;
she wants to see the world and its places,
no longer wants to see the same old faces.
Then there's me, I wish I could go back;
back to the beginning and stay there like a sack.
I don't want a new start, I never asked for one.
I don't want this again, I'm so done.
She and I are so different,
yet we know that we are not indifferent.
She wouldn't trade her life with mine.
I am who I am, and this life is fine.
