Md Hasanuzzaman, Judge of the Women and Children Repression Tribunal Court, gave the verdict on Sunday afternoon.
The convict was Sumon Sarker (25) son of Rafiq Sarker of village Naopara under Lalpur Upazila of Natore district.
According to the court sources, Sumon and his friend caught victim, 14, and took her to a nearby mango garden and raped while she was returning home after her private coaching in the morning on December 30, 2014.
The victim filed a case against them with local police station in the afternoon. Later, the police pressed charge against Sumon only after investigation.
Advocate Shajahan Kabir, Special Public Prosecutor of the Judge court, confirmed the news and said he conducted the case on behalf of the state while advocate Harunur Rashid was fought for the defendant.
