Saif lodges complaint against Ibrahim-Zico with BFF

The newbie challengers of Bangladesh Premier League football Saif Sporting Club on Thursday have lodged a complaints against their winger M Ibrahim and custodian Anisur Rahman Zico with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for breaching their contract with the club.
In separate official mails to the governing body of football in the country, the club informed that these two of their registered booters had taken part in two local events in Badarkhali and Demusia in Cox's Bazar district without informing the club.
Among them, winger Ibrahim was in leave after getting injury in a practice session on January 25 before the AFC Cup Preliminary match. He was excluded from the team for the away match on his request.
On the other hand, custodian Zico took two-day leave to visit his home on January 21 and never reported to the club afterwards.
Ibrahim and Zico played the two matches for Badarkhali Club on January 29 and 31.
According to their contract with the club, the booters were not permitted to play for other clubs.
Both of them were to play the home and away match for Saif Sporting Club against Trust and Care Sports Club of the Maldives. Yet, due to their absence, the club could not play them in the away match that was held on January 30 in the Maldives.
Losing both home and away matches, the club is now taking a look at what their lacking were during the matches and apparently the matters with these two booters would not be taken lightly.
Saif SC requested BFF to take action against the players on disciplinary ground and ban them for five years from local football along with amercement.
