Suicidal spin wicket became Boomerang for Tigers

This is the second time, when Bangladesh bowled the opponents in both the innings but lost the Test. Previous one was against England in 2016 in Chittagong Test, which they were beaten by 22 runs.
Mirpur Test couldn't exceed even the 8th session of the Test, where host conceded the defeat against Islanders by 215 runs.
In the post-match press conference, the acting skipper of Bangladesh Mahmudullah blamed home side batters not the wicket for scoring miseries. "If you don't show your intent, if you can't remain positive, if you give bowlers chance to settle down, then you'll be under trouble in this type of wickets," Mahmudullah explained to media, who believes that aggressive batting is the key to survive for the batsmen in such a wicket. "We relied on the batsmen, as they performed well in Chittagong, that's why this wicket was made. We have a strong spin attack. But our batsmen couldn't do better," Mahmudullah stated regarding batting collapse.   
Sabbir's inclusion burns management decision, who replaced Mussaddek Hossain, scored nothing in the first innings and a single in the second one. 'He (Sabbir) deals spinners nicely, can improvise sweeps and reverse sweeps strongly, produce quick runs," Mahmudullah rationalised the reasons of Sabbir's back.
Meanwhile Rangana Herath gave credits to their coach Chandika Hathurusingha, who was the head coach of the losing side in latest meet of this duals. "He (Hathurusingha) did fantastic job within a short time, he knows how to set strategies, our spinners did their job nicely as well," Herath told to the journalists. "We had a bad series in India. So I feel we have started another journey with the Test team. Hopefully, we can continue with that. When Sanga and Mahela left the team, we struggled for runs. Now, three years later, we are rebuilding the side. Now, I can see the proper team with youth and experiences," Herath showed hope for them. So, he considered this Test win as very important for Lankan cricket.
