Justice for examinees

It is a tormenting to see where our education system is headed. Due to the recent trend of leaking question papers of board exams, the future of our students is now at risk. There are no words to describe what the repercussions would be.
On every level of public examinations -- PSC, JSC, SSC, HSC, BCS and Bank recruitment, questions are being leaked incessantly. Our ministry of education is unable to stop this from happening. Reportedly, some people are questioning whether the people on the admin level are sincere enough to want to stop this fiasco.
Question papers of various subjects, such as Maths, Bangla, English and Islamic Studies, of the ongoing SSC exam have reportedly been leaked. Sets of questions for English 2nd paper were leaked online hours before the exam.
Despite efforts from the authority, the person or persons responsible for question leak have not yet been apprehended. Many groups of leakers can be seen actively circulating questions before every exam. Arresting some of them has not stopped the leakage yet.
It is possible to stop this massacre of education from other fronts. Parents, teachers and most importantly, students, must resist the question leak. Teachers often help supply leaked questions so that the school scores more points in the board. Reportedly, many schools are prone to advertise '100 per cent GPA 5' on their banners.
Parents must understand that teaching their children to be dishonest will cripple their sense of morality. Students have to understand that there is no shortcut to education. It is more important to learn than to memorize answers to a leaked paper. Getting GPA 5 is not more important than having a bright future.
Facebook is the main platform for question leak. Facebook will be remain closed during certain hours of the day on exam dates.
BTRC chairman said that they are observing this matter closely. Many ministry officials are questioning the position of BTRC on this matter.
The education minister, Nurul Islam Nahid, said that concerned authority has been asked to take more stringent steps. Recently, a member of the opposition demanded Nahid's resignation in parliament. Nahid consented to resign his position, but the Prime minister has ordered him to deal with question leak more rigidly.
The education ministry is taking numerous steps to stop question leak, but so far there is little success. Nahid announced a reward of five hundred thousand taka for apprehending anyone responsible for leaking question papers. After that, some small time leakers have been captured, but the ringleaders remain at large.
The arrestees have not been able to supply much information to law enforcement about the source for the alleged question leaks.
There must be full surveillance at the printing presses that print question papers. More security is needed at the centres as well, so that no one gets any opportunity to steal the papers. The teachers that help leak questions must be fired and apprehended.
The concerned authorities must be more vigilant about the leakers. Parents must remain cautious about the examinees using social media to get leaked questions before exams. The punishment for the apprehended leakers must be severe. This will discourage further attempts to leak the exams.
