2 killed in Cox's Bazar elephant attack

Cox's Bazar : Two persons including a Rohingya man were killed in an attack by wild elephant at Kutupalang camp in Ukhia on Thursday morning.

 

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Alam alias Chikon Ali, 28, son of Mohammad Fazal of South Faliapara under Rajapalang union, and Fayez, 30, a resident of Kutupalang unregistered camp.

 

Ukhia police OC M Abul Khayer said a herd of wild elephants attacked Kutupalang camp and Faliapara Nursery areas at dawn that left two persons killed.
