Pro-AL panel dominates in Cox's Bazar Bar polls

Cox's Bazar: Pro-Awami League lawyers' panel bagged 10 posts, out of 17, including that of president and general secretary, in Cox's Bazar Bar Association election.

Mohammad Nurul Islam and Iqbalur Rashid Amin,  candidates from Bangabandhu Ainjibi Parishad and Sammilito Ainjibi Parishad, have been elected president general secretary respectively.

The election commission announced the results on Saturday night.
A total of 584 voters, out of 632, cast their votes to elect in the association members.

Candidates from BNP-backed panel won the rest seven posts, including of two vice-presidents.
