5 activists injured in Rajshahi BCL clash

The injured were identified as BCL activists Johnny, Jahurul, Mana, Imran and Ruhul.

Chhatra League sources said there was a previous conflict between former BCL Shahmakhdum area president Jahurul Islam and former General Secretary Masud Group.

After the freshers reception and farewell of Barendra Govt College in the city, the BCL factions locked in a clash in the afternoon. Later, police reached the spot and pought the situation under control.

Shahmakhdum Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zillur Rahman confirmed the matter.
