Ameer of Ahle Hadith Movement Bangladesh, a Hadith-based Islami organization, Professor Dr Muhammad Asadullah Galib urged people to work for the life after death.
He made the call in the closing speech of the 28th annual Tablighi Ijtema organized by Ahle Hadith Movement at Naudapara area of Rajshahi city on Friday. The Ijtema began on Thursday evening.
Dr Galib also said, “The Mumin must work for the afterlife first, while Quran and Hadith are their only guideline to follow.” He also urged to reconstruct the society with the light of Quran and Hadith.
Thousands of male and female Tabligh followers came to participate in the two days Ijtema which will continue till Saturday Fazr prayer.
Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina’s adviser Salman F Rahman and Rajshahi city Awami League president and former city mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton also were present at the Ijtema, among others.
