Cricket wins against Communal Turmoil

Sri Lanka government imposed curfew and emergency for 10 days to leash Buddhists - Muslims conflict in Kandy district on Tuesday, few hours before the instigation of Nidahas Trophy.
The Kandy turmoil began with a Buddhist man killing, which provoked to set fire on a Muslim businesses shop.  The City of Kandy is located approximately 130km away from the capital Colombo, which is the home venue for Nidahas Trophy this year. Lankan statesman Dayasiri Jayasekara confirms media regarding the declaration of emergency, who said to Reuters, "At a special cabinet meeting, it was decided to declare a state of emergency for 10 days to prevent the spread of communal riots to other parts of the country."
Sudden declaration of urgent situation obscured the fate of the Triangular cricket series. But all hearsays proven wrong when match referee Chris Broad handed over the coin to Dinesh  Chandimal, who came in middle of 22 yards with Rohit Sharma to toss on Tuesday.
Earlier on Indian team confirmed the continuity of the tri-nation tournament without interruption. "There have been reports of curfew and an emergency being called in Sri Lanka. The situation in picture is in Kandy and not Colombo. This is to notify everyone that after talking to concerned security personnel (Ministerial security division-in-charge of team security), we have understood that the situation is completely normal in Colombo," Indian cricket authority briefed in an official press release on Tuesday morning.
The Emerald Islanders survived a 30-years old civil war which ended with the decease of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) chief Velupillai Prabhakaran. Still the hives of religious havoc has been affecting the Indian Ocean Island.
Sri Lanka arranged the Tri-nation T20 International inviting two neighbouring cricket forces Bangladesh and India, in order to commemorate their 70th Independence celebration this year.
