A farmer was killed and two of his cattle died in lightning strike at Sonagazi upazila in Feni on Friday.
The incident happened when the victim, Nur Nabi Milon, 40, went to field to bring back his cows home around 6 pm at Syedpur village in Motiganj union of the upazila.
UNB reports: Two people were killed in separate incidents of lightning strikes in Faridpur district on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Hiro Bepari, 40, son of Rintu Bepari of Munshidangi and Bashar Molla, 35, son of Sohrav Molla of Bornirchar village in Boalmari upazila.
Hiro was hit by a thunderbolt while going to Goldangi for his business and died on the spot around 2pm.
In another incident, Bashar Molla was struck by the lightning while he was planting jute saplings in his land around 5pm, said Nasim Md Selim, chairman of Moyna union parishad.
