Man dies from falling tree branch

A man died after being struck by a falling tree branch at Haguria village in Sadar upazila of Natore district on Thursday night.

Deceased Meer Saiful Alam, 50, was a resident of North Borogachha Mahalla in the district town, said Jhalmolia Highway Police Camp in-charge Md Shariful Islam.

A dry branch of a Shishu tree broke down and fell on Alam's head around 8:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot, the camp in-charge added.
