Another arrested in Rajshahi gang rape case

Police arrested another accused, in connection with gang rape of a 13-year-old girl before a 5-year-old child brother, from Terokhadia Dabtola area of Rajshahi on Tuesday night.

The arrestee was identified as Alif, 27, of Dabtala area.

Earlier on Saturday (28 April), 5 people gang raped the girl in Shiroil colony area of Rajshahi after the girl came from Mymensingh in search of job. On that night Terminal Box police arrested three of them.

Humayun Kabir, Officer-in-charge of Chandrima police station said, four of the five accused have been arrested. Operation is continued to arrest another one.
