Rajshahi University (RU) has emerged champions in the Inter-university Water Polo Competition.
The competition was held in Dhaka University (DU) Swimming Pool on Friday noon.
In the final match of the league, RU team earned the glory by defeating Chittagong University by 5-1 goals.
The competition started on Thursday participated by Rajshahi University (RU), Dhaka University (DU), Jahangirnagar University (JU), Chittagong University (CU) and Barisal University (BU).
Earlier, RU teams defeated DU by 7-3 goals and BU by 8-1 in the league matches.
Asaduzzaman, RU director of the Department of Physical Education, was in charge of RU team manager, while assistant director Kamruzzaman Chanchal and Mukul Hossain were coaches.
