According to Roland Kemlar, "There's no better place to find yourself that sitting by a waterfall and listening to its music". So, in our busy life, we want to go somewhere near to us. For this mission, some of my friends and elder brothers arranged a day-long tour to Khoiyachora waterfall, which is situated on the hill of Mirsharai, Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Khoiyachora waterfall is a beauty of creation! You could not feel the depth of creation until you observe the mind blowing, 9-12 steps waterfalls like Khoiyachora waterfall, with the atypical structural shape, size, and design. Undoubtedly, till now, Khoiyachora is the biggest waterfall in Bangladesh.
To begin with, we went to Cumilla railway station at 4am to board the Chittagong Mail train to Bar-takia. After about 4 hours, we reached Bar-takia station. We had breakfast and started our journey for Khoiyachora waterfall by walking.
After walking for 45 minutes we saw some people buying sticks for climbing the mountain to the beautiful water fall with. Then, we walked through a local, man-made footpath, followed by the chara. After a half an hour walk on the chara trail, we reached the first step of the waterfall. Some of my friends couldn't dare to climb because it was too dangerous.
Along with my friends and some of my elder brothers, I kept on climbing, overcoming step by step to the waterfall. After the 7th, we rested for a while before resuming our climb. When we reached the last step, the waterfall was awesome. We felt that it was the best moment of our life.
We stayed there for some times; then, slowly and carefully, came back step by step on the last step on waterfall. Our mission accomplished and we decided to play some football below the mountain. We took a bath in the water of the fountain. Finally, we went to Bar-takia bazaar and ate lunch at 4pm to go Bar-takia railway station for returning to Cumilla.
I have visited so many waterfalls in Bangladesh, but in my opinion Khoiyachora is the most incredible and magnificent waterfall as per my observation. It can be a one-day tour if you want to visit the waterfall at a low budget.
