Rajshahi City Shibir president arrested

Police early Thursday arrested Rajshahi city unit Islami Chhatra Shibir president Manzur Rahman from Shah Makhdum area in the city.

Rashidul Islam, officer in-charge of detective branch (DB) in Rajshahi city, confirmed the matter.

On information, detectives conducted a drive in a rented house in the area, and nabbed Mizanur alongwith a foreign pistol and three bullets, the OC added.

He also said the Chhatra Shibir leader was sent to jail following a court order.
