School headmaster dies in road accident

A headmaster of a high school was killed in a road accident in Sadar upazila of Meherpur on Monday afternoon.

Deceased Meer Mahbubur Rahman, 45, was the headmaster of Mominpur High School in Sadar upazila.

Police said a cattle-laden power trolley smashed a motorcyle carrying the teacher at Baradi Bazar in the  afternoon, leaving him critically injured.

Mahbubur Rahman was whisked off to Meherpur General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
